Privacy Policy

Katana Rush · Last updated: October 13, 2026 · Version française

Katana Rush (“the Game”) is a mobile game published by Samy — Web3Craft, France (“we”). This policy explains which data is processed when you play, why, and how to exercise your rights. Contact: contact@web3craft.fr.

In short

  • The Game works without an account: we ask for no name, email address or phone number, and we run no server that stores your data.
  • Your progress (levels, in-game currencies, outfits, settings) is stored only on your device.
  • The Game is free, supported by ads and optional in-app purchases. Our advertising partners process some technical data about your device, described below.
  • On first launch we ask whether you accept personalized ads. You can change your mind at any time in Options → Privacy.
  • No loot boxes or random paid items: every purchase shows exactly what you get.

1. Data stored on your device

This data is not sent to us. It may follow your device’s iCloud or Google backup if enabled. You can erase it at any time via Options → Erase everything, or by uninstalling the Game.

2. Advertising

The Game shows rewarded ads (which you choose to watch, for example to continue a run) and interstitial ads (between two runs, never before the third run of the day, and never if you bought the “No ads” option).

Ads are served by Unity LevelPlay (Unity Technologies and its subsidiary ironSource), which may call on partner ad networks. To display ads, measure their effectiveness and prevent fraud, these partners may process:

  • your device’s advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID on Android, IDFA on iPhone and iPad if you allow it);
  • technical information: device model, operating system, language, carrier, connection type;
  • your IP address, from which an approximate location (country, city) can be derived;
  • your interactions with ads (impressions, clicks, videos watched to the end).

Your choice

  • “I accept”: partners may use this data to show you ads matching your interests.
  • “Non-personalized ads”: ads remain but are not based on your profile; some technical data is still needed to display them, cap their frequency and prevent fraud.
  • On iPhone and iPad, the system also asks whether you allow ad tracking (App Tracking Transparency). Without permission, the IDFA is not accessible and ads are not personalized.
  • On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings (Google → Ads).

Legal basis (GDPR): your consent for personalized advertising; our legitimate interest in funding a free game and preventing fraud for non-personalized advertising.

Partner policies: Unity · ironSource (LevelPlay).

3. In-app purchases

Purchases (jade, starter pack, season pass, “No ads” option) are processed by Google Play or Apple’s App Store. We never receive your payment details. The store only confirms that a purchase took place so that we can deliver the item and restore it on a new device (“Restore” button in the shop). The Game contains no loot boxes or random paid items.

4. Leaderboards (Game Center)

If you are signed in to Game Center on iPhone or iPad, your best score and best distance are sent to Game Center leaderboards with your Game Center nickname. This service is provided by Apple under its own privacy policy; you can sign out of Game Center in your device settings. On Android, no online leaderboard is active for now.

5. Notifications

The Game may schedule reminders (daily chest available, for example). These are local notifications created on your device: no data is sent for them. You can refuse or disable them at any time in your device settings or in the Game options.

6. Children

The Game is intended for a general audience (rated 9+ on the App Store, PEGI 7) and is not specifically directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us data, contact us and we will take the necessary steps.

7. Retention

  • Game data stays on your device until you erase it or uninstall the Game.
  • Data processed by our advertising partners is retained according to their own policies (links above).

8. Transfers outside the European Union

Our advertising partners may process data outside the European Union, notably in the United States and Israel. These transfers are covered by the safeguards provided by the GDPR (European Commission standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions).

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time (Options → Privacy).

Since we hold no data identifying you, most requests concern our partners (Unity, Apple, Google): you can exercise them directly with those companies, or write to contact@web3craft.fr and we will forward your request. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr), or your local authority.

10. Security

Exchanges between the Game, the stores and our advertising partners are encrypted (HTTPS).

11. Changes

We may update this policy, for example when the Game adds new features. The update date appears at the top of the page. In case of significant change, we will let you know in the Game.
